Mobile Homes in the Vendee

When you are looking for old world charm combined with perfect scenery and glorious beaches, you will find them right here.

This popular region of France is renowned for its glorious sandy beaches and forests which stretch

virtually unbroken along the coastline from St Jean-de-Monts to La Tranche-sur-Mer.

It is still predominantly an agricultural area and is home to many fishing ports both on the coast and on the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier.

South of La Roche-sur-Yon, the region’s capital, is the Marais Poitevin Regional Park. This is an area of beautiful marshes

with a network of canals surrounded by woods, dotted with bourines, traditional white-washed, thatched houses.

Also typical of the Vendée are the watermills and windmills you will find across the region.

The region stretches almost as far south as La Rochelle and includes several bustling seaside resorts such as Les Sables d’Olonne and La Tranche-sur-Mer.

Le Bois Joli - Challans

accueil camping

Immaculately presented, and engagingly sociable, Le Bois Joli is a gem of a park, situated in the heart of the Vendée's gentle landscape.

The Vendée is a region of wide, sandy beaches, big skies and handsome coastal resorts. It's also something of a connoisseur's choice and remains far less discovered than other coastal stretches. So, if you're looking for a slice of authentic French living alongside the wide horizons of the Atlantic, Le Bois Joli could be the answer. Enthusiastically managed and maintained by Martine and Eric, Le Bois Joli is a small rural site that attracts families and couples who like to relax, recharge their batteries and make new friends. The pools offer a natural meeting point by day, while at night, the bar is a great place to share stories and swap holiday tips. You might want to team up with your new friends for a spot of karaoke too. There's a sprinkling of sports to try, but tranquillity is never far away at Le Bois Joli – it's that sort of place. Parkland is criss-crossed with hiking paths, and sun-terraces are well placed to take advantage of the region's impressive sunshine record. This is a place for leisurely, informal days and long, lazy evenings. Leave the black-tie and evening wear at hoRegion: Vendée

Le Lizot en Saintonge

Piscine du camping le Lizot en Charente maritime

Located near to some of the Vendée's most intriguing sites, Le Bois Joli makes an excellent base. The closest town, Challans, is a bustling town famous for its poultry and eggs – sold at the vibrant market, held every Tuesday. Challans is a great place to shop, too, with an excellent reputation for its well-made crafts. Seafood is superb, as it is in most places in the Vendée. Day trips not to miss include a boat trip to Noirmoutier island, with its wonderful water park and excellent restaurants, close to the island's cloak of ancient green woodland. The region's marshlands offer the opportunity to take a relaxing boat ride deep into estuarine tributaries, revealing the silent French countryside but, with over 80% of its coastline protected by law, it's the luminous light and soft sands of the Vendée's beaches that will draw you back, time after time.

Avrillé - camping Le Domaine des Forges

Vente Mobil home neuf sur camping

Finding a top quality year round park in the Vendée has been at the top of our list of priorities for some time now, so we are delighted to have signed an agreement with Domaine des Forges, a site situated just outside the small Vendée town of Avrillé.

The site has recently been bought by Thierry and Cathy Pacteau who are transforming the site into a superb residential park with pitches that average over 200 sq. mts. All pitches will be equipped with broadband internet access and satellite television points. The peaceful pitches are grouped around a 16th century manor house and outbuildings which house the reception, bar and take away. There's a heated outdoor pool as well as a tennis court and crazy golf course plus the bonus of a 2 hectare fishing lake. the park is situated just a 5 minute walk away from the village centre and the beautiful Vendée pitches are just 8kms away.
