The town centre has small cobbled streets and traditional timber clad buildings. The town has an excellent range of shops, a number of large supermarkets as well as doctors and dentists.

The area is well known for its stunning beaches, picturesque towns and villages. There is plenty to do with lots of beautiful walks, a good choice of golf courses, sailing, fishing, walking, cycling and of course enjoying the many fabulous restaurants that the area has to offer.
